Sisterhood

Alright ladies the time has come… that’s right the time of togetherness, unity and power. Far too much time has gone by where we have judged ourselves or others. We must begin to think about the next 7 generations, and how our actions affect the future. We must let go of our egos and drop the insecurities so that we can love ourselves and others for our differences. This is a time of diversity and I just love that in all of my friends. True unity stems from total acceptance. First we must be true to our path and cherish our uniqueness, then we can also honour that in others.

Honestly I feel that it is our diversity that makes life interesting. Each person holds a key to this grand puzzle. When we all come to the table with our golden key, it is then that we are able to open the gate to a higher level of consciousness. I want to encourage you to let go of all judgment now. This includes any that may be directed towards yourself as well as others. I have found an immense sense of freedom now that I love all people for their uniqueness.

When I was a teen many young women tried to harm me because they judged me and my sense of self. They did not understand me or appreciate my unique appearance, and somehow their sense of reason was to damage what they did not understand. As a result I grew up trying my best to do just the opposite. I would always go to the girls who felt left out and do my best to include them, not out of pity but out of a desire to empower. Now I see that those years have really sculpted me as a woman, and here I am writing about those very issues.

In my community I see a large number of women still trapped in this high school drama. I see and hear them sizing up “so and so” or turning their back on that young lady who hasn’t quite found her beauty yet. I am here to say GET OVER IT !!! We have no time or place for this kind of behaviour any more. These are very delicate times and I have found first hand that, that person may actually become your best friend if you were to truly connect with them. Remember that Great Spirit puts people in your path for a reason.

On the other hand I would like to suggest that if you find yourself being judged by someone who is stuck in their control drama, do your best not to take it personally. Most often these people are feeling lost or have not been taught yet the freedom in acceptance. I know sometimes it is hard to let harmful words or actions not affect you, but remember that we are all one and that in some spiritual way this person IS you, judging yourself. What is it inside you that has not fully moved into self acceptance? Simply send love and then remember that you may just be the one to teach the other how to love without judgment. For if you say that what they have done is wrong then you yourself have judged. Remain in your power, your sense of self, and let the rest move into the light.

As we move further into the new millennium you will notice how important it is to come together. This is a time of unification and illumination. Far too much time has passed with people living inside the box. We go from one box to another box with wheels, into another box and then stare into one more box... so let’s all get out of the box already!!! When we step out and experience life we meet others on the same path. If you meet someone that you don’t like or don’t understand, have a look at what that says about yourself. The more we look inside and make changes where needed, the more we move towards wholeness. All those around will be a reflection of you, either directly or indirectly. Sometimes you will be learning and sometimes you will be teaching, just be certain to remain free of judgment. Let people be them self and smile when you feel challenged. Ask questions when you do not understand something, generally people love explaining them self.

In the Moon Lodge, total acceptance of all beings is an absolute must. Women of all ages, races and beliefs come together in support of each other and their life paths. It is so beautiful to experience such unity and community. True sisterhood is felt and known in the depths of your being when a group of women come together and share heart felt stories. We learn so much from what others share, and as nurturers we also receive when we are able to support those in need.

As we move closer to this new dawn it is essential for us all to come into a place of self love. When we love ourselves and we are secure in our knowledge of self, we are more easily able to honour others as a reflection of self. Then we will be able to create true unified fields of love. When we harness true unity we have cause for great celebration!!! So here, what we have is a simplified version of master plan to wholeness… #1 is truly loving and respecting the self and your chosen path… #2 total acceptance of others as a reflection of self… #3 unification and togetherness within the community… #4 celebration !!! Sounds so easy doesn’t it? Well it is, as soon as you master the self love!!!

Be sure to put yourself first. Not in a selfish way, but in a way of honouring your truth and your destiny. When our cup is full and overflowing, it is then that we are able to share with others. So remember, that if we all take care of our self then we are all taken care of!!! These are the seeds we must plant in order to reach peace on Earth. It always begins at home (((in your heart))).

So my sisters, reach out to that woman whom you know is in need. Offer a helping hand to the ladies in your community. Perhaps you will be able to begin a Moon circle in your home or weekly pot luck??? What ever you see your role to be, now is the time. So step up and bring your community closer together. Celebrate your diversity and learn from each other. We can’t do this alone.
