Hills Garlic Festival
Centennial Park, New Denver, BC
Vendors from all over the Kootenays, the BC Interior, and farther afield gather to sell the bounty of their harvests: vegetables, herbs, arts and crafts, and, of course, GARLIC! The festival attracts about 5000 people of all ages with lively music, great food, children's entertainment, and old fashioned community fun.

Nelson, BC Flow Fest is a multidisciplinary arts & music festival scheduled for September 12th & 13th in Nelson and Valhalla, made up of world-class artists, musicians, youth, Wisdom Keepers and educators from across B.C. and Canada, raising their voices for Water.

Science Meets Our Hearts
Nelson, BC The West Kootenay Success by Six has partnered with the Association for Pre– and Perinatal Psychology and Health along with the Interior Health Authority Population Health and Mental Health, the Regional Physicians Education Group and the Ministry of Children and Family Development to bring you an exciting conference with an amazing group of speakers.
Our Conference Program Committee has worked hard to put together a program that has something for a wide range of professionals who work with families with young children or with children on the way. Speakers are coming from near and far offering a wide range of topics.
